Texas Select Academy
Purpose:
To provide highly competitive game day opportunities, strategy, and drills in an intense camp setting for the top Texas WP athletes.
How:
Enable athletes to compete with and against the best to mimic the opportunities like California Futures.
Expose athletes to accelerated/advanced strategy and tactics from top level coaches from around the country
Intense game day simulations.
Who is this for:
Athletes that excel in water polo and need more challenging opportunities to improve their water polo skills. Athletes that want to get “California” type competition on a more regular basis.
Athlete expectations:
High Water Polo IQ
High Level Water Polo skills
Positive Influence / Positive Behavior
Willingness and Interest in learning to be a stronger better water polo player
Team Player that wants to learn to make themselves better and help their team be better
*Athletes who do not have the skills to compete with the group or who have behavior problems will not be invited back for future academy dates.
Please Note: This is not a team. These are camps that will provide our best Texas water polo athletes an opportunity to compete with and against the best in order to replicate what the best in CA are doing.
Camp Dates:
January 3-4, 2026 - Houston
March 14-15, 2026 - Austin
May 16-17, 2026 - North Texas (Dallas)
Details:
Saturday- 2 - 7pm
2 - 6pm drills, strategy, game day
6 - 7pm Athlete clinics (Nutrition, Injury Prevention, College Recruitment, etc.)
Sunday 9-1pm: Review of drills/strategy and game day

Coaching:
We will again be bringing Coaches from around the world to offer the kids access to high level water polo.
Sign Up/Registration: Academy Fee is $250 per Camp Weekend. Sign up for all 3 and save $75. This will be an invite only camp based on Coach/Club Submissions. Target date to send out registration invites will be November 5th.
